Lance Walker D.O., MPH is a 1997 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a Family Medicine Residency at Floyd Medical Center in Rome Georgia where he served as chief resident. He received a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina in 2005.
Dr. Walker is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He is a a Certified Medical Review Officer, USCIS Civil Surgeon and an Aviation Medical Examiner. He is licensed to practice medicine in all 50 States and the District of Columbia.
As an Occupational Physician in North Carolina he performed disability examinations for the States of North Carolina and Virginia. Dr. Walker has consulted with and provided services for companies such as Georgia Power, Southern Company, Duke Energy, Fluor Global, Arrow Exterminators, Westmoreland Power, Owens Corning, Eaton, Mastec, Pike Electric, Progress Energy and Louisiana Pacific.
Dr. Walker founded PointMed in 2006 after moving to the Atlanta area and realizing that although there were providers for Occupational Medical Services there was a need for a service oriented provider. It is in this capacity with the focus on providing excellent timely service that PointMed operates.
